3 quotes · sourced from Reddit

Pulled from r/boston, r/massachusetts, and town subreddits. Lightly edited for grammar only. The tradeoff quote is on purpose. The honest stuff is what makes the rest believable.

The good
Lexington has the Minuteman Bike Path running all the way to Alewife and the Red Line. From there you can connect to the rest of the metro path network. It changes how you commute.
r/boston · May 2025 view thread →
The tradeoff
The schools are exceptional but the environment is high-pressure. Kids growing up here describe it as a place that emphasizes a narrow view of success. Not every family thrives in that culture.
r/boston · May 2025 view thread →
The feel
Lexington Center is a pleasant downtown for dining and errands, properly walkable in a way that most 128-belt towns are not. Progressive politically, very settled, very intentional.
